The Amison Family Tree From The Times Thursday January 22 1948 TWO DEAD IN ORDNANCE FACTORY ACCIDENT The Ministry of Supply announced last night that two men were killed and one was slightly injured in an accident during the break-down of ammunition at the Royal ordnance Factory, Swynnerton, Staffs. S. Amison, 36, of Green Close, Walton Stone, and F. Martin, 60, of Albert Street, Stoke on Trent, civilian employees, were both killed. An inquiry is to be held. One man was seriously injured and two were slightly hurt in an explosion at the same factory a week ago.
